Just before lavender buds begin to produce flowers, they are cut for drying. This preserves the fragrant oils and keeps the aroma around for months (even years) after they are hung to dry.
You will receive a bag of lavender buds (removed from stems) that can be used in numerous ways - tea, sachets, lavender syrup, etc.
This particular lavender is a French lavender cultivar, with the name “Phenomenal.”
